What is it?
Stir Trek is a one-day conference in Columbus, Ohio focused on teaching software developers the latest and greatest in technologies, techniques, and tools. The full day of content is always concluded with a private screening of a blockbuster film on its opening day.
Stir Trek Conference, Inc. is an Ohio nonprofit corporation and is pursuing tax exempt recognition from the IRS as a 501(c)6 Business League.

Stir Trek is organized by several volunteers from the professional developer community in Ohio. Our officers are:

How do I become a member?
It's simple. If your job involves web or mobile development and you are interested in attending our educational conference, you pay the admission fee. A portion of your fee is for membership dues and the remainder covers the operational cost of the event.
Are membership dues tax deductible?
Maybe. Consult your tax professional regarding deductibility of the costs of attending our conference.
What about corporate sponsorship?
Maybe. Remember that Stir Trek Conference, Inc. is a 501(c)6 entity, not a 501(c)3 charity. Please see your own financial/legal advisers for the official word on how to handle your own tax position.
Code of Conduct
We are currently working on a code of conduct for our members (attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff). We commit to having a code of conduct posted by March 28th (a week before Stir Trek: Winter Soldier Edition).
