Alex Ford!
Engineer turned Director of Design
Bio!
I’ve worked fulltime and as a freelancer, as a full-stack web engineer and a designer. In 2019 I joined ScriptDrop as Director of Design. I work to enable engineering teams to build better stuff with design, because engineering *is* design.

Intentional Design (Stop Designing by Accident)
Design is bigger than you think. We'll talk about what it isn't (a phase), what it is (everything), who does it (everyone), and when it happens (always). You'll get actionable strategies for recognizing UX design accidents and replacing them with intentional decisions before it's too late—no matter your job title. Design is inevitable, so be intentional.
