Session!

No, your InfoSec team isn’t needlessly paranoid

Hackers aren’t just targeting elections. Russia, China, Iran, and others are real threats to companies here in Columbus, Ohio. Your InfoSec team sees and protects your apps from dozens of attacks a day, many of which you never hear about. Who are these malicious actors? What are they doing? What does the InfoSec team actually do all day besides give you more work to complete? And what can you do to keep your apps secure? In this eye-opening session, we will give you insight into the field of threat intelligence and marry it with application security. We will discuss the wide range of hackers who target US industries and companies and examine their motivations. We’ll highlight some of the boogeymen who keep us up at night and profile their Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). Finally, we’ll talk about major components of an effective application security program and why our partnership with development teams is critical to ensure the security of our companies.
